The Medical Evaluation and Detox program (RED) is a residential experience available to individuals who are looking for detoxification/withdrawal management services, as well as a comprehensive assessment of needs to provide the foundation for ongoing recovery. Clients are evaluated by medical staff to determine their length of stay, which could average between 3-10 days depending on medical necessity.
While in the RED program, each client will participate in a comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment, mental health screening, full medical detox services, and motivational groups. If appropriate and depending on client interest, clients may engage in Residential programming at Harmony to provide motivation around ongoing treatment and further support their efforts at recovery.
Clients will receive case management services to coordinate their care during their entire stay and assist in development of a continuing care plan. This plan may include referral to residential treatment, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, outpatient, and sober living resources.
