Recovery Center

Recovery Center 6
Harmony Foundation offers great options for those in recovery at its Fort Collins extension. Its purpose is to provide much needed recovery services for Harmony alumni, their family members, and others through physical, emotional, and spiritual healing.

We offer peer-run/peer-led Recovery Support Groups for alumni and families Wednesday and Thursday evenings. Telephonic, online, and face-to-face recovery coaching services are also available. The family group meets on Sundays. Alumni chapter groups feature events and workshops that support early recovery skill building. These include financial planning, nutrition classes, career building and resource development for recovery support.

The new center is meant to expand all four of the recovery dimensions.

Four Dimensions Supporting Life in Recovery:
  • Health – overcoming or managing one’s disease or symptoms – for example, abstaining from alcohol, illicit drugs, and non-prescribed medications if one has an addiction problem – and for everyone in recovery, making informed, healthy choices that support physical and emotional well-being.
  • Home – having a stable and safe place to live.
  • Purpose – conducting meaningful daily activities, such as a job, school, volunteerism, family caretaking, or creative endeavors, and the independence, income and resources to participate in society.
  • Community – having relationships and social networks that provide support, friendship, love, and hope.

This is your space, tell me how you want to use it. Help us use it in a way that’s helpful for you!

You wanna start a group, or host an event? Talk to us. It doesn’t have to be a “serious” lecture about addiction. It could be an open mic event, or other social occasion where everyone is invited to come, have some (sober) fun and enjoy good food.
