Joseph is a CAC II therapist with an undergraduate degree from Allentown College of Saint Francis de Sales in Center Valley PA and a Master of Divinity and Master of Theology from Mary Immaculate Seminary in Northampton PA. Joseph worked at Saint Michael Community a residential treatment program in Saint Louis, Missouri and at Hospitality House, an outpatient addiction treatment program in Philadelphia, PA and DePaul University working with students in Chicago Illinois. Joseph joined Harmony four years ago and is currently the Team Leader for the Harmony Men’s Program.

Lois Menke-Cashman, MSW, LCSW, CACIII

Lois completed her BSW at Augsburg College in Minneapolis, MN in 1983. During her undergraduate training she was afforded the opportunity to complete a practicum with Hazelden in Plymouth MN. She was subsequently hired to work as a technician and found this experience with addiction to become a passion in her career. Lois received her MSW from CSU in 2011 and is currently an LCSW, CACIII. She has worked in a variety of clinical settings to include Medical, Psychiatric, Hospice, Addiction all of which has given her a rich experience to understand individual clinical needs.

Trent Burkholder CAC III
LEAD Counselor
Trent has an undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder in Psychology. He is a CAC III men’s primary therapist at Harmony Foundation, having worked at Harmony in this role since 2011. Trent has a personal history of continuous sobriety since 2004. He utilizes his own recovery experience, with a strong foundation in 12-step concepts and relapse prevention, as well as clinical best practices in CBT to help clients find support in their early recovery from addiction.

Ashita is a graduate of Christ University, Bangalore, India with a Master’s of Science in Psychology (Clinical). She completed a Masters in Addiction Counseling from Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School of Addiction Studies in Center City, MN. She worked in an addiction treatment facility in India and worked with both men and women at Hazelden Betty Ford.

As a lead counselor for the men at Harmony, Megan is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) and a professional life coach. She holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree, concentration in Adult Mental Health, from Metropolitan State University of Denver. Additionally, she holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Environmental Policy from the University of Michigan. Prior to joining the Harmony team, Megan worked as an addictions counselor with clients in the justice system.

Laura received her master’s from Walden University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Addiction Counseling. Laura has worked in the field of addiction treatment since 2011. Her passion for horses led her to complete a practicum in Equine Therapy. Her professional goals are to develop an equine-assisted psychotherapy program specific for SUD treatment.

Rebecca Sugar, MSW, LSW

Rebecca Sugar earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Metropolitan State University of Denver with an emphasis on Adult Mental Health. Rebecca had the unique experience of writing her own curriculum on the psychology of 12 Step programs. With this curriculum she was awarded a bachelor’s degree in “Spiritual Counseling.” Rebecca believes that sustained recovery is possible and is a lifestyle that requires caring for the mind, body and spirit. Rebecca has over 20 years’ experience as an active member in the recovery community and is grateful to continue her service to others in a professional setting.

Alex earned her Masters in Addiction Counseling in Psychology from Colorado State University and her Bachelors of Science in Psychology with a concentration in Addiction Counseling from Colorado State University. Alex is credentialed in Colorado as a Registered Psychotherapist and is working towards LPC and LAC licensure. She has worked in the field of addiction counseling since 2017. Before coming to Harmony, Alex worked in the criminal justice system with adolescents and adults who struggled with drug/alcohol dependence and legal issues in Larimer County.

Carla Felts, MSW, LCSW, CCM
Detox Counselor
Carla earned a Master of Social Work in Clinical Mental Health, Military Social Work from University of Southern California and her Bachelors of Social Work from Colorado State University. She is credentialed in the state of Colorado as a Licensed Social Worker and has worked with individuals, couples and families impacted by substance abuse and addiction since 1997. Before coming to Harmony, Carla worked in private practice treating touring professionals in the music industry struggling with mental health and addiction. Carla also worked with child youth and families impacted by addiction in the Colorado child welfare system and practiced as a trauma and mental health therapist for combat veterans with co-occurring substance use disorders in the Veteran Administration. Carla is a combat veteran (US ARMY) who served in the Persian Gulf War.

Morgan Roy, MA, MFTC
Family Counselor
Morgan Roy has a Bachelors of Science in Applied Psychology with a specialization in Positive Psychology and a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Regis University. Morgan has extensive experience working with family systems, couples, young adults, and adolescents. Morgan has training and education in Gottman Method couples therapy and is currently Level 2 certified and a certified leader of The Seven Principles of Making Marriage Work.

Erik received his master’s in Clinical Mental Health from the University of Northern Colorado. He has worked in the field of addiction treatment since 2017. Erik’s career path working with recovery began on a college campus, followed by community mental health, and currently Harmony Foundation. Uric Geer, M.A., LPCC
Mental Health Professional
Uric is a graduate of Naropa University, Boulder, CO where he earned a Master’s of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling: Mindfulness-based Transpersonal Counseling. Additionally, Uric earned a M.A. in Science Education from Western Michigan University prior to arriving in the world of addiction and mental health treatment in 2015. Uric’s work within this field began when serving as a practicum student at Harmony. He then worked as a mental health Crisis Therapist within a regional behavioral health agency prior to returning to Harmony in 2019.

Caleb Eddy
Clinical Case Manager
Caleb is a Colorado native that has spent the last 2 years working as a case manager in the field of recovery services in both Larimer and Weld County. He is a NARCAN Trainer and facilitated family programming. He has joined the clinical case management team to assist clients in establishing recovery supports in order to assist in their ongoing sobriety. Caleb is currently working to get his certification in addiction counseling.

Clinical Case Manager
Julie has worked as a Certified Peer Support Specialists for North Range Behavioral Health as a primary support for the Adult Treatment Court in Weld County Co. She also worked as a Care Coordinator for Co-Slaw, an organization dedicated to help those seeking MAT treatment in the Larimer and Weld county.
Recently joining the Clinical Case Management team at Harmony, Julie focuses on helping clients build a plan for continuing care to helping them on their next step of their recovery journey.
Bill Myers
Spiritual Advisor
Bill has been in recovery for nearly half his life. He has accompanied many fellow alcoholics and addicts on their recovery journeys, especially as they discover or reclaim their individual values, beliefs and practices. An active poet, teacher, and tireless “explorer of the spirit,” he is a friend to all faiths and spiritual traditions. He holds a master of arts degree.
